What is it?
Citrus Aurantium is also known as Bitter Orange, has been used for thousands of centuries. The active ingredient is called synephrine, and has replaced the banned stimulant ephedra in many weight loss supplements. Found in: It is a spiny evergreen tree, although it is native to Vietnam it is actually grown around the world. Mainly found in fat burning products such as Grenade or Ener-Lean. Benefits:
Are you lacking? The body does not require Citrus Aurantium to survive, but it is a herb which has beneficial properties so if you want to lose body fat and increase energy levels this could be for you as it works by raising blood pressure and heart rate. How much should I take and when? Most fat burners have between 300mg to 700mg amounts. Ideally should be taken in the morning or pre-workout. Anything else I should know? Research is ongoing with Citrus Aurantium but we would not advice some one with heart problems or high blood pressure to take. Warning: Can cause insomnia, nervousness and anxiety.
